By enrolling at UTRECHT DANCE CENTER (UDC), you declare that you are familiar with and agree to the terms and conditions:
General Conditions
The one-man business Utrecht Dance Center is registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 60947780
Upon registration, the student and the course fee payer agree to these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are subject to change and errors are reserved. For all matters not covered by these terms and conditions Utrecht Dance Center, under the direction of Chériëlle Dollekamp, decides.
1. ENROLL
Registering as a member is done by filling out an online registration form. Upon signing the registration form, the member agrees to the then current terms and conditions and is obligated to pay the tuition fee of the respective membership.
2. LESSONS
Utrecht Dance Center reserves the right to cancel classes in case of insufficient enrollment. Cancellation is via notification on the website and/or social media. The class schedule is on the website and can be requested by app or email. UDC reserves the right to change the class schedule at any time.
3. ONLINE BOOKING & CANCELLATION
All classes/tuition cards and subscriptions can be booked online. A class can be booked up to 2 weeks in advance. Should you fail to do so on time, a 5 euro penalty will be added to your subscription fee.
3a. Should a member wish to cancel a class, the member must do this themselves in the online profile (under 'my bookings in the virtuagym app). If you have booked a class with your subscription then you can cancel the class again up to 2 hours before the class starts.
3b. If you have booked a class with a 10 or 25 rides card, you can cancel your class up to 2 hours before the class starts. If you cancel too late or do not show up you will lose the lesson/credit.
4. OPENING HOURS
UDC reserves the right to change opening hours. On official and recognized holidays, UDC branches are entitled to be closed. UDC reserves the right to be closed for an acceptable period of time in case of fire, water damage, relocation, or other unforeseen situations. In this case, the member cannot derive any rights to rescind or suspend their installment payment obligations.
5. INTERMISSION
Interim enrollment during the year is possible; classes already taken are not charged.
6. INTERIM TERMINATION
Early termination is not possible for any subscription with the exception of the situation described in article 6a.
6a. In case of long-term injury or illness (longer than 30 days), the subscription can be stopped once during the term, temporarily, up to a maximum of six months. This Temporary Stop is only possible after submitting a doctor's statement or other plausible evidence.
6b. Absence due to study, internship, work, relocation, pregnancy, or vacation does not entitle you to discontinue your subscription as referred to in this article.
7. TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP
Members may terminate their subscription by cancelling by email(info@utrechtdancecenter.com). Cancellations will be confirmed by return e-mail within 14 days at the latest. If the subscriber holder has not received confirmation of the cancellation, he should contact the administration by phone at 06-20043401. All abo obligations remain in place until the subscriber holder has received the cancellation confirmation.
7a. For subscriptions, the notice period is one month before the subscription expiration date. (reference date is the day of purchase of the subscription).
7b. Memberships that do not have a subscription (single class or 10 and 25 rides cards) associated with them will automatically terminate upon reaching the expiration date.
7c. Memberships to which a subscription is tied are automatically renewed and collected with the collection deadline, in the month prior to the membership expiration date.
7d. Memberships cannot be temporarily discontinued.
7e. If no written notice of cancellation is received, subscriptions will be tacitly renewed by 1 month each time. The membership fee for the next year will be collected by direct debit in the month prior to the expiration of the membership.
7f. In case of not receiving the due installment payment on time, for example due to insufficient balance or for any reason, you will be notified by email of a double installment collection in the following month's installment payment (without charge). Missed monthly installments that are still outstanding are automatically presented to the bank for collection again in the following month. If it appears that two installments in a row are not collectable, the subscription will be blocked and € 15 administrative costs will be charged. By e mail you will be asked one last time to pay the outstanding installments + administration fee by return. If you remain in default we will hand over the administration to the collection agency without further notice. The payment arrangement will then be cancelled and the full remaining amount of the outstanding installments will be immediately due and payable for collection. All resulting costs will be borne by the cardholder.
7g. Until the payment obligation is met, the member will be denied access to UDC locations. UDC reserves the right to terminate the agreement with the member with immediate effect in case of payment arrears, without cancellation of the payment obligation. The subscription fee for the remaining part of the relevant subscription after termination shall be immediately due and payable as of the date of termination.
7h. Subscriptions are personal and non-transferable.
8. ILLNESS/ABSENCE
In case of illness/absence of the teacher, the student will be notified by email. A replacement will be sought. If this is not possible, the lesson will be cancelled. There is no refund of the course fee.
8a. In case of illness/absence of the member, kindly notify UDC in a timely manner by email or telephone. The absence will then be passed on to the teacher.
9. LIABILITY
Participation in UDC's classes or other activities is at the student's own risk. UDC (and its employees) are in no way liable for material and immaterial damages resulting from participating in the classes or other activities.
9a. Each member is liable for damage caused to UDC property, if such damage is due to negligence and/or fault of such member. UDC is not liable for not receiving email sent to the client, due to incorrect or changed email addresses of addressee.
10. PUBLICATION PHOTOS/VIDEOS
Photos or videos may be taken of members/parents/interested parties at UDC activities. These photos and videos may be used for informational and publication purposes. We assume that you agree to publication.
11. LOCATION UTRECHT DANCE CENTER
UDC has 2 locations in Utrecht. In principle, UDC youth/adult dance classes are held at Nieuw Welgelegen Grebbeberglaan 3 in Utrecht. When the hall is not available, it is possible that another location will be used.
11a. UDC kids' dance classes are held in the dance hall of Podium Oost, Oudwijkerdwarsstraat 148 in Utrecht. The entrance can be reached via Bolstraat and then turn right into the courtyard (Albrachthof). When the hall is not available it is possible that another location will be used.

By registering, the student and the course debtor agree to these general terms and conditions. These general terms and conditions can be changed in the meantime and errors are reserved. Utrecht Dance Center, led by Chériëlle Dollekamp, decides for all matters for which these conditions are not provided.

7th. If no written cancellation has been received, subscriptions will be tacitly renewed for 1 month each time. The membership fee owed for the following year will be collected by direct debit in the month prior to the expiration of the membership.
7f. In case of late receipt of the installment due, for example due to insufficient balance or for whatever reason, you will be informed by e-mail of a double installment in the subsequent monthly installment payment (without costs). Missed monthly installments that are still outstanding are automatically returned to the bank for collection in the following month. If it turns out that two installments in a row cannot be collected, a block will be placed on the subscription and € 15 in administration costs will be charged. You will be asked one last time by e-mail to pay the outstanding installments + administration costs by return. If you fail to do so, we will hand over the administration to the collection agency without further notice. The payment arrangement will then be canceled and the full remaining amount of the outstanding installments will be immediately due and payable and handed over for collection. All resulting costs will be borne by the card holder.
7g. As long as the payment obligation has not been met, the member will be denied access to the UDC locations. UDC reserves the right to terminate the agreement with the member with immediate effect in case of payment arrears, without the payment obligation expiring. The subscription fee for the remaining part of the relevant subscription after termination is immediately due and payable on the date of termination.
7h. Subscriptions are personal and non-transferable.

9a. Each member is liable for damage caused to property of UDC, if this damage is attributable to negligence and / or fault of this member. UDC is not liable for non-receipt of e-mail sent to the customer, due to incorrect or changed e-mail addresses of the addressee.
10. PUBLICATION OF PHOTOS / VIDEOS
It is possible that photos or videos of the members / parents / interested parties are made during the activities of UDC. These photos and videos can be used for informational and publishing purposes. We assume that you agree with publication.
